WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Allied Packaging is a manufacturer and distributor of custom packaging materials and packaging equipment, located in Phoenix, Arizona. We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Warehouse Associate.

The successful candidate must be organized and efficient, and must be certified to operate a forklift.

***Phoenix Airport Area-16th St. South of I-10***

Duties Include

  • Pulling and staging orders
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Managing inventory and locator system
  • Doing whatever it takes to get the job done

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work in the warehouse driving a forklift, pulling orders, loading trucks and making deliveries
  • Safely operate forklift
  • Works productively (i.e., receiving products, picking products, etc.) with little supervision and is self directed and self motivated
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to support our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring our production equipment and systems run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and a proactive attitude toward equipment care.

Duties Include

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure minimal production downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Safely operate maintenance-related equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand/power tools.
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly to detect issues before they become critical.
  • Maintain and update work orders, part inventories, and maintenance logs in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Work on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, motors, wiring configurations, and control circuits.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Support safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to internal maintenance requests.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficient with mechanical systems, pneumatics, power transmission, and electrical distribution.
  • Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, motor wiring, control circuits, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Tools & Equipment: Skilled in the proper use of hand/power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic devices.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency for updating maintenance software and work orders.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication in English.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Forklift and scissor lift operation.

RAPID TECHNOLOGIES SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Allied Packaging is a 35+ year packaging manufacturer and distributor, and we continue to be one of the fastest growing packaging companies in the US.

In addition to our manufacturing facility in Phoenix, Arizona, Allied offers Rapid Bander and Rapid Roper Plus – our patented stretch wrap systems that are changing the way pallets are wrapped, providing up to 3X greater load containment using less film.

As we expand into new markets across the country, we are seeking highly motivated, experienced sales representatives with a proven track record of cultivating new opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.

A secondary responsibility will be to sell our flexible packaging product line, featuring state-of-the-art high definition printing, laminating and converting capabilities, as well as high quality printed labels, packaging tape, corrugated containers, corner board, and a wide range of other packaging supplies and equipment.

Duties Include

  • Prospect and identify new stretch wrap sales opportunities within the local market.

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven and measurable track record in sales with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Allied Packaging is a 35+ year packaging manufacturer and distributor based in Phoenix Arizona, and one of the fastest growing packaging companies in the US. We continue to make significant investments to expand our product line and production capabilities and we strive to offer products and programs that are unique in the industry and feature attributes that give us a strong competitive edge in the marketplace.

We are seeking an energetic, highly self-motivated, and experienced Service Technician to help us expand our rapidly growing packaging business, and particularly our unique and patented Rapid Bander® stretch wrap material/system solution. The territory will be the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Duties Include

  • Handle all installations for the Rapid Bander® which in most cases are fairly simple and quick, but occasionally require metal fabrication - cutting and drilling.
  • Assist with system demonstrations at our demonstration facility and/or at customer sites.
  • Interface with Sales and other Technical Support Team Members to strategize and execute successful sales, demonstration, installation, and after sales support.
  • Fabricate customized apparatus’ components for unique system installations.
  • Work with designated stretch wrap system manufacturer to design semi and/or fully automated pallet wrapping lines that can include conveyors and other essential and adjunct processing line components.
  • Install or assist with installation of Tape Machines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in a hands on technical/maintenance role.
  • Hands-on experience with stretch wrap systems including equipment demos, installation, and service.
  • Good metal working and fabrication skills – cutting, drilling, and fabricating.
  • Strong experience in equipment installation and after sales service.
  • Good understanding and experience with basic electronics, including PLCs, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with basic equipment programming.
  • Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office software and email.
  • Strong Verbal Communication Skills in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Experience in training customers on new equipment, and employees or co-workers in new jobs.
  • Driven and dedicated with a willingness to work hard and occasional long hours as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to set and prioritize goals and tasks, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. (a heavy roll of film).
  • Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance. Good driving record.
  • Willingness to eventually travel as much as 1-2 times per month possibly for approximately 1-2 nights at a time and occasionally, though rarely, on weekends. In the first 6 months, I don’t see much if any overnight travel.

Desirable but not required:

  • Technical or University Degree
  • Welding ability. System sales experience would be beneficial.
  • Spanish language ability is a plus.
  • Experience with tape machine equipment, and Form Fill & Seal equipment.
  • Ability to drive a forklift
  • Class C CDL Drivers’ License

MANUFACTURING POSITIONS

As we continue to expand our printing and flexible packaging operations, we are looking to fill additional positions in our production department, including narrow and wide web press operators, converting equipment operators, laminating operators, supervisors, warehouse, and maintenance technicians. Both experienced and entry-level positions are available.

Duties Include

  • Operate and monitor production equipment throughout assigned shifts.
  • Use company computer systems to execute and verify production processes.
  • Read, interpret, and follow written job specifications accurately.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in production activities.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical schedule is 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week.
